PEG A. MASCIOTTO MEMORIAL $1000.00 SCHOLARSHIP

This fund was set up in memory of Peg Masciotto, who passed away during her term as President of the Association. The $1,000.00 scholarship is awarded annually to one recipient.

Essay topic:
The Judiciary Core Values are Independence, Fairness, Quality Service and Integrity.  You may pick one or all and then write an essay of 250-500 words explaining how they relate to you on a personal, professional or academic level.

APPLICATION DUE NO LATER THAN APRIL 24, 2024.  APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE. NO FAXED OR EMAILED ESSAYS OR CHECKLISTS ACCEPTED.

1. “C” average or better
2. New Jersey Resident
3. Proof of acceptance as a matriculated student to an accredited institution (but does not have to
be a freshman)
4. Two letters of recommendation (academic or professional only)
5. Must be a member of the Municipal Court Administrators Association of NJ or their
household member, spouse or substantial equivalent, sibling, parent, grandparent, child,
grandchild, niece or nephew including the above related by marriage, domestic partner,
civil union or foster
6. Applicants are to compose an essay – minimum of 250 to 500 words, typed-double spaced.
